Buyer quality checklist
Agree peptide sample acceptance before dispatch
Define what the sample must demonstrate, how it will be tested, who decides, and what happens after acceptance or failure.
Write down material identity, intended use, specification, methods, limits, quantity, packaging, storage, test owner, decision date and next commercial action before the sample ships.
Before dispatch
Acceptance plan
- Named material or sequence
- Intended use and destination market
- Sample quantity and batch identity
- Specification, methods and limits
- Required COA, HPLC, MS or source data
- Packaging, temperature and storage
- Buyer test laboratory and decision owner
- Target receipt and decision dates
After testing
| Accepted | Record which criteria passed and the dated next action for quotation or commercial qualification. |
|---|---|
| Conditional | List open tests, deviations, missing data and the owner of each action. |
| Rejected | Record the failed criterion, method, result, sample handling and investigation route. |
| Future lots | Define lot-release documents, comparability expectations and change-notification requirements. |
A sample is not a shortcut: accepting one sample does not automatically validate every future batch, source, specification or market route.
FAQ
Sample decision questions
Make the decision path visible to both parties.
When should sample acceptance criteria be agreed?
Before sample dispatch. Both parties should agree the identity, tests, limits, data, packaging, storage and decision process.
Does accepting a sample automatically approve future commercial batches?
No. Sample acceptance should define what it proves and how future lot-specific release, change control and commercial qualification will be handled.
